Lorden Vella Pty Ltd is a construction company founded by two directors, Hill Lorden and Garath Vella.

With over 25 years combined experience in the building and construction management industry in Melbourne, the two directors are passionate and enthusiastic individuals who have both worked for multiple highly regarded builders.

They bring a wealth of experience to the business from a variety of market sectors and across a diverse range of projects.

Both directors have a proven track record in the delivery of successful projects ranging from $500k to $16m.

Both directors are heavily involved in the delivery of each project, from tender through to completion.

Lorden Vella is managed by its two directors, Hill Lorden and Garath Vella. Garath manages the project delivery side of the business. Hill’s focus is on business development, administration, and financial management.

Hill and Garath are supported by a number of key staff including project managers, contract administrators and site supervisors.

We also have developed close relationships with a team of loyal sub-contractors during our time in the industry.


We are accustomed to working in highly controlled environments.

Lorden Vella employs a Safety Management System and implements a site-specific site management plan for each project, to ensure the highest standard of safety is achieved.

Other systems and procedures we use include:

  • Environmental Management Plans.
  • Inspection & Test Plans for quality control.
  • Project Risk Assessments.
  • Subcontractor Procurement Checklists.

Lorden Vella implements robust financial management and project management systems using the latest construction software.

We have current insurances in place for Public & Products Liability, Contract Works, and Workcover.
